If there is a premise that Rodrigo Izquierdo always starts from when he approaches a new project, it is that of bringing what is outside into an interior design context. In the case of the new hotel project that rises in the splendid and suggestive setting of Sorrento, pearl of the Mediterranean, Rodrigo Izquierdo has chosen to interpret the typical codes of the vivid local tradition, full of craftsmanship, history and culture of hospitality, inside a hotel that could be functional, contemporary, but above all a means to allow guests to enjoy the external atmospheres even inside their bedroom and in all the space dedicated to hospitality.

The spectacular blue skies, the scent of lemons, the folklore of the markets and facades of the charming town on the Sorrento peninsula, come to life in a hotel that synthesizes these iconic values, translating them into a sophisticated and contemporary present. The inspiration is that of the ancient Roman villas that are part of the artistic heritage of the area: a custom-made flooring in a color scale of gray and glossy white, a clear reference to the classicist tradition of the time, large arches reinterpreted in a minimalist key, with a vibrant and saturated color palette. A clear reference to a people who are not afraid to experiment with colors, we find warm tones such as terracotta, sienna, yellow, green and, obviously, different shades of blue, the symbolic color of Campania and the splendid gulf, a source of inspiration for artists and poets. Customers can enjoy the relaxation they deserve on the splendid French terrace, an outdoor area that is a true “Jardin d’Hiver”, with splendid wicker seats. A feeling of pleasant well-being that continues inside the hall, characterized by large spaces that combine elements of classicism and the most essential modernity given by the large mirrors, but also embellished by unique elements, such as the custom-made wall lamps or the decorative lamps, created with elements and materials typical of local craftsmanship such as majolica.

The splendid dining room is conceived as a multifunctional space, perfect for enjoying an excellent and savory experience but also as a space for organizing other types of events. Unique detail, the appliques in the shape of a bowl, elaborated with exclusive and typical materials of the area. An ideal place for all those who want to prolong the sensations of a trip even during the moment of relaxation, but above all who choose to stay in a hotel that can fuel a unique experience destined to remain in the heart forever.
