Il progetto del piano uomo nello di via Montenapoleone in Milan, resumes the new concept devised by the brand. The space, of 185 square meters, is located on the ground floor, connected internally to the piano donna on the level street.
The first room hosts the casual area and accessories for men and opens onto an open patio, furnished with a marble and green bench.
Il pavimento in legno accommodates in the center a tappeto di marmo grigio Bardiglio with darker round inserts, in contrast. The same precious material is used to make the boiserie, in grigio Carnico marble with circular inlays in low relief. The smooth and white colored walls are finished with Venetian stucco. As per the Florentine museum, the walls are intentionally neutral and illuminated with radiant light in order to form the ideal background for the brand’s variety of textures.
The plaster vault of the ceiling makes the space more compact and brings it back to the vaulted spaces of classic palaces. The decorative lighting consists of groups of three brushed brass cylinders that descend from the ceiling, a precious and geometric element.
A corridor covered in dark marble, with a niche that contains jewelry from the men’s collection, becomes a visual telescope that attracts the client to the successive rooms and unites the casual area with the ready-to-wear area and the evening area. In this second room, a large central cabinet covered in grigio scuro listellato wood and marble separates the rtw area from the evening area, with a large specchio da sarto in the center. The dressing rooms are covered with fabric and mirrors at full height on the walls and carpeted floors.
Even the design of the furniture, designed by the studio, riffs on the world of Tuscan craftsmanship, with details of the skin, the borchie, the bocciardate lamiere. The pendants are made of brass lances, covered with light intrecciato leather, referring to the world of Florentine craftsmanship, the mirrors are framed in brass, the upholstery has a pure and sculptural form with fine velvet of cool shades. The counters for sale are massive, imposing, made of natural oak slats, or with bocciardato brass, with glass or marble tops.
