With its 230 square meters, the Roberto Cavalli store in Berlin, in central and prestigious Charlottemburg, is divided into five zones, divided into sales areas, as well as service areas and staff areas.

The entrance portals to all the rooms, the vaulted ceiling and the marble carpets on the floors are taken from the Florentine tradition as key elements and reinterpreted with new forms and materials, while maintaining legibility and recognition. The wooden floor has a marble rug in the center (gray for the man and red for the woman) with contrasting round inserts. The same precious material is used for the construction of the plinth, also with circular inlays in low relief. The smooth and white colored walls are finished with Venetian stucco. As per the Florentine museum, the walls are intentionally neutral and illuminated with radiant light in order to form the ideal background for the brand’s variety of textures.

The plaster vault of the ceiling makes the space more compact and brings it back to the vaulted spaces of classic palaces. The decorative lighting consists of groups of three brushed brass cylinders that descend from the ceiling. The different areas, each with its own soul, are different depending on the color of the marble, Rosso Iberico for the woman, Grigio Carnico and Bardiglio marble for the man. The central area, next to the entrance, houses the women’s area, accessories and rtw. In fact, the VIP area remains more private and intimate. The room has a plinth in clear-colored lacquered wood, the upper part is covered with a precious fabric, reminiscent of the tapestries of historic palaces. The men’s area transmits a more masculine and rigorous atmosphere, with the use of dark marble. A niche, also covered in marble, accommodates gil accesorios uomo della collezione. The dressing rooms are covered with fabric and mirrors at full height on the walls and carpeted floors.

Even the design of the furniture, designed by the studio, riffs on the world of Tuscan craftsmanship, with details of the skin, the borchie, the bocciardate lamiere. The hangers are made of brass lances, covered with light intrecciato leather, rhyming to the world of Florentine craftsmanship, the mirrors are framed in brass, the upholstery has a pure and sculptural form with precious velvet of warm shades for the woman and cold for the man man. The counters for sale are massive, imposing, made of natural oak slats, or with bocciardato brass, with glass or marble tops.
